A Bridge Not Too Far

This is the bridge at Remagen (or at least the remains of it) that was the only Rhine bridge that the Americans found intact in March 1945. They were able to cross and establish a bridge head before it collapsed 10 days later.

It promised a museum but this was closed while improvements were made.
