Damage Control

I have begun to realise the dangers of the internet. I went to take a photo of some friends the other day and one of them was clearly uncomfortable with the idea, so I deleted the picture to avoid any upset.

I thought it was all a bit precious until saw a picture of me that Sally has loaded onto Facebook. It is not one of my best. If I could go back in time then I would have improved my posture, sucked in my stomach and lost a few pounds.

But it’s too late. The picture is out there and will probably be seen by future prospective employers. I reckon that my career prospects are dead.

It get’s even worse. I have been thinking of leaving Sally over this major social indiscretion but when I go searching for another partner they will look me up on the web and see this. What chance do I have now? I think that Sally did it on purpose. But she doesn’t realise that it has back-fired on her. Now she’s stuck with me.
