The Blues Bar - Salina - August 27th

There are two groups of clientel. The kids with surf-wave hair play pool in the back saloon. No need to enter if you are more than 25. Here in the front are the retired farm workers, all men with just the hard bitten female owner behind the bar. The farm work and gruelling sun have taken their toll with many showing injuries such as limps, or the loss of an eye or finger. All looking old before their time. But they still come and sit and chat at this time of the evening while the surf boys in the back will understandably seek a different future.
