Cold Sweats - Salina - August 27th

When the sun goes down on the River Po and the temperature drops just a little then the humidity edges towards 100%. By 9 o'clock it was wet and clammy in the tent and you could hear the precipitation dropping on the inner roof. Uncomfortable to sleep it was a long night and confirmed my resolve to leave to Po tomorrow and strike south as orginally planned. The riverside cycle paths would have to wait until another year.
