The Dutch take their caravanning very seriously and they are very good at it. To be honest, I am not sure that they really want to leave home. So they bring most of it with them. The current campsite at Santanay is like a Dutch town with each of the roads lined with Dutch cars, Dutch tents and Dutch caravans. Plus satellite dishes and other electronic paraphernalia. Dutch television must be really good if it warrants bringing all this stuff and watching while on holiday. Personally I would just settle for access to their cappuccino machines.
