Someone Else’s Shoes

Everyone should see life at some point from another person’s shoes. Just to get a more complete perspective. And the more power they have the more important it is. I think that George Osborne, our Chancellor of the Exchequer (Finance Minister), should be given a bike and tent plus two weeks off work to cycle from John O’Groats to Lands End, or perhaps even Warsaw to Budapest, where they won’t know him. It would give him some more interesting insights into other people’s lives than he gets from his current vacations spent in that Beverly Hills hotel.
