I phoned my brother last night. He asked why I didn't just stay on the train and be home in a couple of days. I said something banal like "but the best is yet to come". It didn't sound convincing. So if you have any ideas then answers please, on a postcard, to: The Bloke on a Bike, Central France, Europe. But take your time. I will still be here to receive your thoughts.
p.s. Hold on to your postcards, save your stamps. I have thought of something, a reason to keep cycling: If my brother, who is now living with us, is doing all those DIY jobs that I have been putting off then Sally doesn't really need me at home, does she?
