In France, in many towns, they make McDonalds change the colour of their signage. Gone are the garish red and yellow arches to be replaced by soft greens. I have even seen some tasteful light blues. It’s wonderful. Besides the more soothing effect on your eyes I like the fact that they have decided to tell this big multinational that if they want to come to their town then they must comply with their wishes and avoid making it looking like a strip mall. They have claimed back what is theirs. I wish we could all do the same.
