The small patisserie in Bligny-sur-Ouche leads in the local speciality stakes for their individual Quiche Lorraine. I tried a fromage one as well but even if you are vegetarian I would still relent for once. The added bacon makes it delicious.

It's a bit early for bike trips and camping but I must grab this window of opportunity between other commitments and head for northern France via Cherbourg. The plan was to head for the Loire but it's cold out there so we'll aim for the Normandy D-day beaches and then make a decision © M Roach 2024
